Sunaina has been roped in to play opposite Arulnithi Thamizharasu, son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi’s youngest son M K Thamizharasu, in a film to be directed by Pandiraj of ‘Pasanga’ fame.

The film produced by Thamizharasu for Mohana Movies will be a love story with ample importance to comedy, sources say. Confirming this, Pandiraj says, “I thought of making a city-based film after ‘Pasanga’. However, I changed my idea later and decided to direct a love story set in Pudukottai.”

Throwing more light, he says, “Noted producer Jayaprakash, who played the role of a teacher in ‘Pasanga’, will do an important character. ‘Ganja’ Karuppu is also doing a pivotal role. Music is by Thaj Noor, a former associate of A R Rahman.”

Saying that the film would be named only after the first schedule was over, Pandiraj adds Mahesh Muthusami’s cinematography would be one of the highlights of the movie. “The story would not be new or different. But I am hopeful that the film would be liked by one and all.”
